A noticeably slimmer version of Dan Uggla reported to Braves spring training this season, as he's shed 10 pounds since the end of the 2012 season.
The 32-year-old Uggla, who's coming off the worst season of his professional career, reported to camp at 195 pounds, which is 20 pounds lighter than he was at this point a season ago. He spent the offseason doing baseball-specific workouts and agility drills, while improving his diet. He could represent a decent value after the top tier of second basemen are taken in fantasy drafts.
