Jeremiah: Mingo did not have a good year
Barkevious Mingo - DL - College Player
Feb. 15, 2013 - 5:00 PM ET

Ex-NFL scout Daniel Jeremiah suggested that LSU DE Barkevious Mingo may be drafted lower than "people may think" after a disappointing junior year.

Mingo's sacks dipped from 8.0 as a sophomore to 4.5 as a junior. "There's some who aren't as high on him as people may think just because he played so light," said Jeremiah. "... You can watch him in four or five games and you can see him not make five plays. ... He did not have a good year. He was much better the year before. He played more snaps this year, which didn't help."
