Koa Misi settles off-the-field issue
Koa Misi - LB - Miami Dolphins
Feb. 16, 2013 - 12:45 PM ET

Dolphins SLB Koa Misi was sentenced to three years' probation and 400 hours of community service for his role in an April 2011 fight.

Misi's felony battery charge was reduced to a misdemeanor. It means the run stopper won't be facing league discipline during the final year of his rookie contract. The Palm Beach Post considers Misi an extension candidate, but we'd only expect the Dolphins to act if the terms are exceedingly team friendly.
