Chiefs talking with LT Albert about re-upping
Branden Albert - T - Kansas City Chiefs
Feb. 15, 2013 - 11:30 AM ET

NFL.com's Ian Rapoport says the Chiefs would like to bring free agent LT Branden Albert back, and the two sides have been in contact.

Albert's future has been cloudy, from the reports of teams wanting to kick him inside to guard to the five-year veteran having a bad back. Each of those items have been shot down, though. Albert has already said the notion of him moving inside is "ludicrous," while USA Today's Mike Garafolo said Albert passed a "full physical" last week. If he is indeed healthy, the Chiefs need to re-sign Albert to keep their strong offensive line intact.
