Jason Isringhausen hasn't retired

Jason Isringhausen's agent, Dan Horwits, said Thursday that is client has not retired despite accepting a coaching position at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
The job at SIUE is a volunteer coaching position, so Izzy will be allowed to leave if he is able to find a major league gig. Interest in the 40-year-old has been scarce, though, so the odds are still pretty good that he's thrown his last pitch.
