The Rams and Lions DBs coach Tim Walton are working on a contract to make him the defensive coordinator by early next week.

Walton is going to be the defensive coordinator in St. Louis, and there's no doubt about that. Detroit has already promoted Marcus Robertson to DBs coach to fill Walton's spot. The Rams are aiming to have the deal wrapped up prior to the Scouting Combine, which will get underway on Wednesday.
