The Tacoma News Tribune says it's likely Matt Flynn will be "plying his trade elsewhere" in 2013.
The Seahawks will take anything they can get for Flynn. SI's Peter King recently said a "late-round pick" could get a deal done, while Seattle-based John Clayton of ESPN thinks Flynn could fetch a "third- or fourth-round pick." Flynn is due a $5.25 million salary, $2 million of which is guaranteed. Coach Pete Carroll added that he would like to replace Flynn with an athletic No. 2 quarterback, somebody similar to Russell Wilson. A couple of free agents that could possibly fit that athletic mold are Josh Johnson and Chase Daniel. A reunion with Tarvaris Jackson wouldn't seem likely.
