Cowboys to approach Carr about restructuring

ESPN Dallas says the Cowboys "will" restructure CB Brandon Carr's contract.
Carr has to agree to the restructuring, of course, but there's nothing to suggest that he wouldn't be open to it. Carr is due a fully guaranteed $14.3 million base salary in 2013, year two of a five-year deal, along with about $2 million in signing bonus proration. Restructuring his deal would apparently save "about $10.5 million" toward the 2013 cap.
