ESPN's Pat Yasinskas says "there's almost no way" the Panthers can keep both DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart on the 2013 roster.
Former GM Marty Hurney handcuffed the Panthers by committing $80.8 million to his two running backs. The logical solution now is to release Williams as a June 1 cut, allowing them the prorate his $4.85 million cap hit over two seasons. Cutting Stewart would result in an immediate $7 million cap hit.
