Orioles executive vice president Dan Duquette said Tuesday that he hopes to have a resolution with Jair Jurrjens within the next couple of days.
Jurrjens agreed to a one-year, $1.5 million contract with the Orioles last month and took his pre-signing physical soon after, but an official announcement has reportedly been delayed due to concerns over his right knee. "This is an issue that just takes a little bit more time on the process, but hopefully it will get resolved," said Duquette, who didn't dismiss the possibility that the original terms of the agreement could be changed.
