Madson to undergo MRI on elbow Tuesday

Ryan Madson will undergo an MRI on his right elbow on Tuesday.
The Angels are hopeful that Madson is just dealing with general soreness following Tommy John surgery, but they want him to get the MRI just to make sure nothing else is going on. Assuming everything comes back clean, he should get cleared to throw. Still, he's a long shot to be ready for the season at this point, so Ernesto Frieri figures to get the early save chances.
