Gregorius dealing with UCL issue in elbow

Diamondbacks general manager Kevin Towers said Tuesday that shortstop Didi Gregorius is dealing with a "slight" UCL issue in his right elbow.
That's not what you want to hear after the Diamondbacks dealt Trevor Bauer in order to acquire him, but surgery is not expected to be necessary. However, the 22-year-old will not be ready for the start of the season.
