According to CBS Sports' Jon Heyman, the Indians may use outfielder Drew Stubbs as trade bait.
The Indians signed free agent center fielder Michael Bourn to a four-year, $48 million contract on Monday night, making Stubbs expendable. Stubbs, 28, was acquired in a trade earlier this winter with the Reds and Diamondbacks. He hit just .213/.277/.333 in 2012 for Cincinnati but stole 30 bases in 37 tries.
