Despite not matching the impressive seasons of fellow rookie quarterbacks, the Dolphins remain excited about Ryan Tannehill's potential.
Tannehill averaged 216 passing yards in his 15 complete games with a 12:13 TD-to-INT ratio, stats that pale in comparison to Andrew Luck, Robert Griffin III, and Russell Wilson. However, coach Joe Philbin believes Tannehill can make a big jump in his second year. Philbin was particularly impressed by Tannehill's awareness. "Sometimes you'll ask a guy, 'Was it man or zone? Did they blitz?' Some guys kind of give you the blank look, but Ryan's been very aware and in tune to what's happening on the field," said Philbin.
