Saunders' deal with M's worth $6.5 million

FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal reports that Joe Saunders' one-year deal with the Mariners is worth $6.5 million.
Saunders could make an additional $1 million with incentives. The deal includes a mutual option for 2014. The 31-year-old southpaw had a 4.07 ERA and 112/39 K/BB ratio over 174 2/3 innings last season between the Diamondbacks and Orioles. He should continue to be a solid back-end starter with Seattle.
