New Cardinals coach Bruce Arians plans to keep RCB Patrick Peterson on punt returns.
Peterson's punt-return efficiency slipped dramatically in his second NFL season, but the special teams workload has yet to affect his pass coverage. "He can't get his hands on the ball enough for me," Arians said. "As long as the other team is punting, he's going to be back there." Peterson averaged 15.9 yards on 44 punt returns with four touchdowns as a rookie. In 2012, his average slipped to 8.4 yards on 51 chances without a score.
