FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal reports that the Pirates have finalized a contract with left-hander Francisco Liriano.
The deal was first reported just before Christmas, but the two sides had to work through some things after Liriano injured his non-throwing arm. Though the details aren't official, the left-hander is expected to agree to reduce his salary in the first year of the deal should he miss time due to the ailment. Liriano posted a 5.34 ERA, 1.47 WHIP and 167/87 K/BB ratio in 156 2/3 innings last season.
