According to NFL draft insider Tony Pauline, the "consensus" belief at last month's Senior Bowl was that the Jaguars will give Blaine Gabbert one more season to prove himself.
Per Pauline, Jacksonville is looking at this year's mid- to late-round quarterbacks ala Matt Scott of Arizona. Pauline says Scott is a "favorite" of new Jaguars QBs coach Frank Scelfo. Drafted under the Jack Del Rio regime in 2011, Gabbert will be on his third different offensive coordinator in 2013, having gone from Dirk Koetter to Bob Bratkowski to newly hired Jedd Fisch.
