Cowboys owner Jerry Jones insists he's "excited" about coach Jason Garrett, and remains bullish on him "for years to come."
Jones made the comments in a video meant to dispel the notion that it was Jones ' and not his head coach ' who was behind the Cowboys' assistant coaching overhaul and stripping of Garrett's playcalling duties. "He did the evaluations," Jones insisted. "He basically said, 'Jerry here's who I want to get.'" Right. Garrett's seat will be perhaps the hottest in the league entering 2013.
