Lester hasn't talked long-term deal with Sox

Jon Lester said Thursday that the Red Sox have not approached him about a long-term contract extension.
Lester is locked in at $11.625 million for 2013 and carries a $13 million club option for the 2014 season, so the Red Sox have no reason to rush into anything. The 29-year-old left-hander posted a 4.82 ERA, 1.39 WHIP and 166/68 K/BB ratio across 205 1/3 innings in 2012. He was much better in the four years prior.
