Luke Scott re-signs with Rays for $2.75 mil

Rays re-signed DH Luke Scott to a one-year, $2.75 million contract.
The deal was reported a couple weeks ago and has now become official. He'll have a shot to earn an additional $750,000 in incentives. Scott posted an ugly .229/.285/.439 batting line in 2012 for the Rays, but he says he's finally fully recovered from shoulder surgery and has a good chance to bounce back as long as he stays healthy. He'll be Tampa's regular DH against right-handed pitching.
