DallasCowboys.com doesn't expect the Cowboys to re-sign free agent OLB/DE Anthony Spencer.
Writer Nick Eatman expects Spencer to reach the open market and pull down a deal worth $10-$12 million per season. Even the $8.8 million Spencer played for last season would be prohibitive for a team that's believed to be as much as $20 million over the 2013 salary cap. Spencer is reportedly "hopeful a deal can be worked out," but it's unlikely. Perhaps the Saints and old friend Rob Ryan will come calling.
