The player rep for free agent Danny Amendola said negotiations with the Rams have been "positive."
These discussions are likely complicated by Amendola's inability to sustain health. He's averaged 5.6 catches for 59.2 yards per game over the last two seasons, but has missed 20 games. An expensive, long-term deal would be a risk. Amendola's agent, Erik Burkhardt, did take the opportunity to tee off on new Ram Titus Young. "I don't think it affects Danny one bit. Titus Young isn't anywhere in the same ZIP code as Danny as far as a player goes. I'm sure Young may disagree with that because he thinks he's better than Calvin Johnson."
