The agent for S Charles Woodson has yet to hear from the Packers regarding his client's future in Green Bay.
Agent Carl Poston is "optimistic" Woodson will be retained for 2013, but it's no sure thing. Woodson is going on age 37 and owed $10 million in salary and bonuses. Theoretically, GM Ted Thompson doesn't have to decide Woodson's fate until late in the offseason. The Packers owe Woodson no significant sum until his $2.5 million roster bonus comes due on the first day of training camp.
