Rams 'meet' with Dick Jauron about DC job
Rams Defense - TM - St. Louis Rams
Feb. 4, 2013 - 11:30 PM ET

CBS' Jason La Canfora reports the Rams "have met" with ex-Browns DC Dick Jauron regarding the same position in St. Louis.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported last week that the Rams planned to "reach out" to Jauron, and that appears to have happened already. Jauron is a 4-3 guy with a ton of experience. He's had coordinating stints with the Jaguars, Lions, and Browns, while being a head coach with the Bears and Bills. NFL.com's Ian Rapoport says coach Jeff Fisher could meet with five or six more candidates. None of those names are known, but Fisher is willing to take his time.
