Jaguars GM David Caldwell said the team will address Maurice Jones-Drew's contract "toward the end of the season" in 2013.
In other words, Caldwell wants MJD to prove his health. Jones-Drew is entering the final season of his five-year deal, and is set to earn just $4.95 million. Although he held out last offseason, he has no plans to do so under the new regime. MJD also classified his foot injury as a "mid-foot fracture," and expects to be ready for football activities by late May or early June.
