Ravens DT Haloti Ngata exited Super Bowl XLVII with a third-quarter injury to his left knee and was listed as doubtful to return.
The Ravens initially described it as a "sprain," but in-game injury disclosures typically mean little or nothing. The fact that Ngata was immediately deemed "doubtful" to come back in suggests team doctors fear a significant injury. Ngata had two tackles against the 49ers before exiting. Ngata was an impact run defender this postseason with 13 tackles (10 solo) in just over 3 1/2 games.
