Astros, Mets considering Matsuzaka

Nick Cafardo of the Boston Globe hears that the Astros and Mets are "kicking around the possibility" of signing Daisuke Matsuzaka.
Matsuzaka will have to settle for a minor league deal, and he could wind up heading back to Japan if he doesn't like his chances of cracking an Opening Day roster. A report from Sports Hochi last month stated that the right-hander was deciding on minor league offers from the Indians, Marlins and Mets.
