In an interview with NFL.com, West Virginia QB Geno Smith says he is working on stepping into a locker room and becoming the "consummate leader" for whatever team selects him.
He adds that the goal is to "set the bar high and lead by example." Smith is training at IMG academy with Chris Weinke and took questions about Manti Te'o in stride. Obviously Geno's goal is to start immediately in the NFL and said not competing at the Senior Bowl was a "strategic move" due to risk factors brought up by people around him.
