RGIII expected to start training camp on PUP

Robert Griffin (ACL, LCL surgery) is expected to open training camp on the PUP list.
This is a given. Once camp opens, Griffin will be about six months removed from surgery. By placing RG3 on camp/PUP, the Redskins will open another roster spot to bring in a camp arm behind Kirk Cousins. Griffin has vowed to be ready for Week 1, but that is very much up in the air. His recovery seems to be going well, though. Griffin was at the NFL Honors on Saturday night, walking without a limp or crutches.
