Melky Cabrera won't play for Dominican in WBC

Melky Cabrera has withdrawn his name from consideration for the Dominican Republic squad in the upcoming World Baseball Classic.
Cabrera was included on the provisional roster released last month, but he has apparently changed his mind about participating. It's unknown whether recent allegations of purchasing performance-enhancing drugs from the Biogenesis clinic in Miami played a role in his decision.
