Hester considered a 'long shot' to contribute
Devin Hester - WR - Chicago Bears
Feb. 1, 2013 - 3:05 PM ET

ESPN Chicago calls Devin Hester a "long shot" to contribute on offense in 2013.

Hester has one year left on his deal at $1.858 million, and he caught a five-year low 26 passes for just 242 yards and one touchdown last season. Beat writer Jeff Dickerson thinks the Bears could keep him around for the return game, but he wonders whether it would just be best to cut Hester and move on. The Bears already have Eric Weems, who was a Pro Bowl returner in 2010 with Atlanta.
