Snee hits a 2013 salary escalator

Giants RG Chris Snee triggered an escalator in his contract, raising his 2013 salary from $6.45 million to $6.7 million.
Snee started all 16 games in 2012, and why wouldn't he have? The 31-year-old has missed just one game over the last eight seasons, despite dealing with various injuries. Snee played through a partially torn labrum and bone spurs in his hip for part of this past season. He is planning on undergoing surgery shortly, and should be ready in time for training camp.
