Champ Bailey triggers $500K escalator bonus

Champ Bailey triggered an escalator in his contract, upping his 2013 salary from $9 million to $9.5 million.
Bailey has money in his contract that can be awarded to him based on Pro Bowl selections, and since Champ was a Pro Bowler this past season, that appears to be the case here. The 34-year-old was torched by Torrey Smith in the Divisional Round, but he did grade out as Pro Football Focus' No. 10 corner in 2012. Bailey has two years left on his deal.
