Percy Harvin triggers $1.35M salary escalator

Percy Harvin triggered an escalator in his rookie contract, raising his 2013 salary from $1.55 million to $2.9 million.
Before landing on injured reserve after nine games, Harvin amassed 62 catches for 677 yards and three touchdowns as one of the most electrifying players in the league. Harvin's contract status will surely dominate the local papers and radio airwaves in Minnesota this offseason. He's in line for a hefty contract extension as he enters the final year of his deal.
