John Jerry gets a salary bump for 2013

Dolphins RG John Jerry's base salary will be up from $575,000 to $1.323 million in 2013 after he hit escalators in his rookie contract.
Jerry started all 16 games this past season after entering training camp squarely on the roster bubble. He reported to training camp ballooned up to 360 pounds, and OC Mike Sherman famously laid into him and called Jerry "a player descending fast." Jerry answered the bell, though, and GM Jeff Ireland recently said Jerry has "a big arrow up on his future" as he enters the final year of his contract.
