Chiefs FS Lewis triggers performance bonus

Chiefs FS Kendrick Lewis triggered an escalator in his rookie deal, raising his 2013 salary from $575,000 to $1.323 million.
A year after starting all 16 games, Lewis battled a right shoulder injury to start the 2012 season, causing him to miss seven contests. Lewis was never really the same player we saw his first two seasons. He's entering the final year of his contract.
