Mike Jenkins expected to leave Cowboys

Free agent CB Mike Jenkins is expected to depart Dallas this offseason for an opportunity to start again.
ESPN Dallas suggests Jenkins "will not land the type of deal he expects" on the open market, but he's not returning to the Cowboys. The 25th overall pick in the 2008 draft, Jenkins was a sparingly-used dime cornerback in 2012 before slot corner Orlando Scandrick's year-ending injury. Jenkins, 28 in March, made 43 starts across the 2009-2011 seasons. He started just twice in 2012.
