(Reuters) - Former Penn State football coach Jerry Sandusky's bid for a new trial on child sex abuse charges was rejected by a Pennsylvania judge on Wednesday.
Judge John Cleland rejected the request in an opinion posted on the Centre County Court's website. Sandusky's attorneys had argued they had not had enough time to prepare for the trial.
