Aldon Smith on a cold streak with sacks

49ers OLB Aldon Smith hasn't recorded a sack since Week 14 of the regular season.
Smith had 19.5 sacks in the first 13 games of the year, making current his five-game drought somewhat fluky. "First off, in most of these games where Aldon hasn't gotten sacks, he has rushed well," DC Vic Fangio said. "Teams are throwing the ball quickly. He is getting a little bit more attention. I don't see it as an issue." The 49ers' ability to protect their vulnerable secondary with a strong pass rush will be one of the keys come Super Bowl Sunday.
