Bills OT Young receives bump in 2013 salary

Bills OT Sam Young's base salary will be up from $575,000 to $630,000 in 2013 after he hit escalators in his rookie contract.
Young was originally a sixth-round pick out of Notre Dame by the Cowboys in 2010, but he was claimed off waivers by Buffalo prior to the 2011 season. He made his first four career starts in Weeks 14 to 17 in 2012 while RT Erik Pears was hampered by a hip injury.
