Schofield hits escalator to trigger raise

Cardinals OLB O'Brien Schofield's 2013 salary jumped from $575,000 to $1.323 million based on rookie-deal incentives.
Schofield started nine games in 2012 and recorded four sacks before he was lost for the season with torn ligaments in his ankle. Schofield and fellow OLB Sam Acho have underwhelmed over the last couple seasons, and their future roles remain unclear with Todd Bowles now in the fold as defensive coordinator.
