Garcia's deal with Padres worth $1.3 million

CBS Sports' Jon Heyman reports that Freddy Garcia would have a base salary of $1.3 million if he makes the Padres.
Garcia signed a minor league deal with the Padres on Monday and will compete for a rotation spot during spring training. The veteran right-hander could make an additional $1.25 million in incentives, which means he could max out at $2.55 million.
