According to CBS' Jason La Canfora, free agent Jared Cook "appears to have no future" in Tennessee.
This directly contradicts what ESPN's Paul Kuharsky postulated earlier this month, as the former Titans' beat writer said he "fully expects" Tennessee to franchise tag its perennially under-utilized tight end. Cook would be due an affordable $5.962 under the tag. La Canfora "would expect" former Titans coach Jeff Fisher to target Cook for the Rams if he reaches the open market. We'd guess Cook gets one more chance in Tennessee.
