Ex-Chiefs GM Scott Pioli listed Florida DT Sharrif Floyd as the third best underclassman in the 2013 draft.
Pioli cites Floyd's age (20) and position versatility after the junior spent time in 2011 at end and has the frame to play in a three or four man front. "Good competitor and tough player against the run and pass," Pioli wrote. "Not great sack numbers, but consistently disruptive in the pass rush, and the type of player who makes those around him better by making the offense concentrate so much on stopping him." He has a chance to challenge Star Lotulelei for the top defensive tackle spot.
