Kurt Busch led the first practice for the Sprint Cup Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
His lap of 190.846 mph in the No. 78 Chevrolet SS was the quickest of the 44 cars out on the track for the first practice session. No. 18 Kyle Busch, No. 5 Kasey Kahne, No. 48 Jimmie Johnson and No. 43 Aric Almirola were the rest of the top five on the speed chart. No. 35 Josh Wise was the slowest.
