According to the agent for South Carolina RB Marcus Lattimore (knee surgery), Lattimore's LCL and PCL are "tight as a drum" and his ACL rehab is coming along enough to be ready for Week 1 of the 2013 NFL season.
Lattimore tore all three ligaments in his right knee on October 27. The LCL should be familiar to NFL fans because it was one of the ligaments torn by Robert Griffin III with the Redskins. Like RG3, Lattimore's recovery is being supervised by Dr. James Andrews, who deemed the running back's progress "nothing short of a miracle." Pre-draft medical tests will dictate whether Lattimore is worth a draft pick. We do expect to see him taken on the third day.
