Dolphins GM Jeff Ireland gave TE Michael Egnew a vote of confidence on Tuesday.
"I have a high regard for him. He's gonna have a good season this year, I feel real confident about it," said Ireland. Of course he feels that way after blowing a third-round pick on the tight end. Egnew was anonymously blasted by his teammates after the season. One player called him a "p***y," while another said he "should have been cut." Egnew was the No. 78 overall selection in the 2012 draft and appeared in just two games, catching zero passes. He'll be squarely on the roster bubble this summer.
