Ricky Stenhouse Jr. led the lone practice for the NASCAR Sprint Showdown race at the Charlotte Motor Speedway.
Stenhouse's lap of 188.811 mph in the No. 17 Ford Fusion was the quickest of the 23 cars out on the track for the final practice leading to Saturday night's pre-All-Star race. No. 1 Jamie McMurray, No. 31 Jeff Burton, No. 42 Juan Pablo Montoya and No. 19 Mike Bliss were the rest of the top five on the speed chart. No. 52 Brian Keselowski, at 174.735 mph, was the slowest.
