Playing what could have been his final game in a Patriots' uniform, impending free agent Danny Woodhead rushed just three times for 11 yards in New England's AFC title game loss to the Ravens.
He added one catch for 12 yards. Although a thumb injury is partly to blame, Woodhead ends the Patriots' playoff run with just five touches in two games. This, after he touched the ball eight times or fewer in eight of the Patriots' final nine regular season contests. Woodhead is a proven fit for the Patriots' fast-paced offense, but it's possible Bill Belichick will decide Shane Vereen is ready to take his place. Woodhead's market won't be robust if he's allowed to walk.
